Cross-linking
TAIC modifiers for various thermoplastics (polyethylene, polyvinyl chloride,
chlorinated polyethylene, EVA, polystyrene, etc.). Thermal crosslinking is
generally added in an amount of 1-3%. Additional dicumyl peroxide (DCP) is
0.2-1%. The amount of irradiation cross-linking is 0.5-2%, and DCP can no
longer be added. After cross-linking, the heat resistance, flame retardancy,
solvent resistance, mechanical strength and electrical properties of the
product can be significantly improved. It is cross-linked by using a peroxide
system alone, and the product quality is remarkably improved without odor.
